The entry for this church in the Stadt Bad Karlshafen web site [https://www.bad-karlshafen.de/familie-soziales/leben-wohnen/kirchen] [accessed 22 April 2024] informs that the present font in use is a former pillar from the crypt of the monastery installed as a font in the church only a few decades ago ["Der daneben stehende Taufstein befindet sich erst seit etwa vier Jahrzehnten in der Kirche. Seine Hauptbestandteile stammen aus der Krypta der Klosterkirche"].
