Font Notes:
The entry for this church in archINFORM [https://www.archinform.net/projekte/20578.htm] [accessed 15 March 2024] mentions the fragment of a Romanesque baptismal font with remains of figures on it, dated to the 13th century ["Das Fragment eines romanischen Taufsteins mit Figurenresten ist vom 13. Jahrhundert."] Mentioned also in the German Wikipedia entry for this church [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Pankratius_(Hoinkhausen)] [accessed 15 March 2024]. Only the lower end of the cylindrical basin remains now, showing the lower part of the figures that adorned it; it was probably the original font of the medieval church here. The baptismal font in use is modern; it is located in the west-end chapel used now as baptistery
