The entry for this church in the Pfarre St. Michael [https://www.michaelerkirche.at/en/moveable-pulpits/werdenberg-chapel/] [accessed 13 March 2024] mentions a Romanesque baptismal font of ca. 1250 as a remarkable artistic object located in the Werdenberg Chapel; the red marble stone is the oldest part of this font. The font is a composite object now partially built into the north wall of the Werdenbergkapelle located in the north apse of the re-built church; the tub-shaped red marble basin appears plain; the base is round to square and appears made of limestone. Wooden cover hinged at the back.
