Font Notes:
Noted and illustrated in Pomeranica [http://pomeranica.pl/wiki/Chrzcielnica_z_Nieborowa] [accessed 27 February 2024] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the late-16th century decorated with figures of St. Peter, St. Paul and the Four Evangelists; the basin had a metal bowl insert originally; the missing pedestal base was probably cruciform, as suggested by the bottom shape of the basin; a similar font at Ośno Lubuskie. The font is said to be originally from a church at Nieborów that was destroyed in WWII, in the runs of which the font was found; it was transferred to the Muzeum Narodowe w Szczecinie in 1971. Measurements given: "52x81x81 cm".
