Described and illustrated in Donin (1931) as a baptismal font made of red marble ca. 1500; it consists of a dodecagonal basin with concave sides, on a moulded base of the same shape; originally from Martinskirche, it was moved to this church when it became parochial [in 1628] ["Von kirchlichen Denkmälern der Gotik hat sich noch der schöne Taufstein aus rotem Marmor in der Pfarrkirche erhalten [...] Die zwölfeckige Taufschale mit eingezogenen Seiten ruht auf einem sehr reich profilierten, ebenfalls zwölfeckigen, unten eingezogenen Fuße, der zweimal einen Wulst von sich durchstoßenden Stäben trägt. Nach dem ganzen spätgotischen Aufbau mit dem reichen Sockelprofil und den sich kreuzenden Stäben ist der Taufstein um 1500 entstanden, zu w elcher Zeit noch die alte Martinskirche als Pfarrkirche v erw endet wurde. Aus ihr wurde daher der Taufstein in die heutige Pfarrkirche übertragen"]. No cover present.
