A baptismal font shown in a 1927 photograph in the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek [https://www.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de/item/4YORF3ZJR25OFZXE4YXZZVGSH4BIWFR5] [accessed 8 February 2024] with the caption: "Taufstein, ( Roschbach) steht im Hof des Gasthauses zum Adler". The font consists of a rounded basin bearing an inscription on the upper side moulding with the date 16+04; the sides and underbowl are decorated with a pattern of broad ribs, on a composite pedestal base; it is a very crude work, and has considerable damage to the upper side of th basin. No cover present at the time (1927). An undated photograph or postcard [cf. ImagesArea] shows the font outside a Roschbach inn serving as planter. Its present whereabouts are unknown.
