The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aschbach_(Schlüsselfeld)] [accessed 6 February 2024] mentions a baptismal font that was reserved for the Protestant use while this church was shared with the Catholics at the time, until the construction of the Catholic church in 1922; the font is polygonal, each side decrated with a shield charged with a coat of arms [cf. infra] ["Die simultane Nutzung dauerte bis zum Neubau der katholischen Kirche im Jahr 1922. Der Taufstein aus der zweiten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts war der evangelischen Nutzung vorbehalten"].
