Listed and illustrated by Hans-Peter Bodenstein in obiter dictum Heft Nr. 1 2008 [https://www.ndrom.de/der-taufstein-in-kloster-neuendorf/] [accessed 1 February 2024]. The baptismal font consists of a plain roughly cylindrical basin with a rounded underbowl, raised on a round-to-octagonal-to-square pedestal base; the round roll moulding atop appears to be part of the base block; the sides of the octagonal base below have been chamfered to make it square at the bottom. No cover present but there is evidence at the upper rim of the basin of anchorings for a former cover.
