Font Notes:
There is a stone vessel at the west end of the nave, that may be being used as baptismal font or holy-water stoup; it looks like a pedestal base, octagonal-to-square on the outside; the inner well is round and the upper end is rough and damaged. No cover present. In the southwest corner of the nave are two disused stone objects that resemble a basin and base of a font, the upturned basin decorated with a ribbed pattern all around. [NB: we have no t been able to confirm which of these objects is in use and as what]. The same can be said about a stone object in an enclosed alcove [cf. ImagesArea]; it appears roughly cylindrical and built into the left corner of am enclosed alcove; the inner basis is circular and very small [NB: we have no knowledge of its purpose or function]. Outside the castle of Biron is a stone object used as planter; it consists of an octagonal basin decorated with mouldings and round arches or windows on the sides, raised on an octagonal pedestal base with a single moulding all around. We have no information on whether or not it, or a part of it, may have been used inside the church at some point.
