Scene Description: Source caption: "Gertrudiskirche (Saalfeld-Graba), 7 m hoher spätgotischer Schnitzaltar aus Saalfelder Schule. Die Figuren wurden etwa 1510 von Hans Gottwald von Lohr angefertigt. Im Mittelteil befinden sich die lebensgroßen Figuren der heiligen Gertrud zwischen Benedikt von Nursia und Anno von Köln. In den geöffneten Flügeln stehen die in Flachreliefs ausgeführten Heiligen Sebastian und Jakobus der Ältere sowie Katharina und Barbara. Der filigran geschnitzte Auszug über dem Schrein wird geschmückt von den Figuren der Maria mit Kind zwischen Petrus und Paulus; im obersten Teil erscheint die Figurengruppe des Gnadenstuhls oder der Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit."

The large stone font consists of an octagonal basin raised on a short pedestal base of the same shape, and a wide plinth; all of it plain.
