The Johanniter Provinzial-Sachsische Genossenschaft [https://www.johanniter-psg.de/2023/01/25/taufstein-für-notleben/] [accessed 13 January 2024] describes and illustrates the baptismal font in this church, as a medieval font that stood outside the rectory in Ellersleben for years serving as planter; when the restoration of the church church at Nottleben was undertaken in 2017-2019 the font was restored, re-carved with the letters alpha and omega and St. John's cross, and moved to the Evangelische Kirche Sankt Peter und Paul in Nottleben.
