The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Mauritius_(Frauenprießnitz)] [accessed 13 January 2024] mentions a late-Renaissance baptismal font in it. The font consists of a cylindrical basin decorated with oval and round cartouches that alternate with emblems and coats of arms, between thin horizontal mouldings; around the lower basin end or underbowl is a wreathlike moulding all around; raised on a round pedestal base with similar decoration; the whole font is brightly painted and gilded.
