The entry for this church in the Kirchengemeindelexikon 1800 Geschichten [https://kirchengemeindelexikon.de/einzelgemeinde/bevern-bremervoerde/] [accessed 25 December 2023] reports that a crude vessel found during the demolition of the old church, and probably used then as a holy-water stoup, is now used as a baptismal font in the new church ["Als Taufbecken dient ein beim Abbruch der alten Kirche aufgefundenes, vermutlich früher als Weihwasserbecken genutztes Steinbecken"]. The object is almost shapeless, sort of round; stands on a modern replacement base; The metal cover is also modern.
