Baptismal font described and illustrated in Gaiffier (1875) who does mention the composite characteristic of this font, but attributes it to the date of the present building [i.e., the 16th century]: "L'église de Godinne n'a conservé de sa construction primitive que les pans coupés de l'abside, ajourés de tiers-points, sans meneaux, à l'exception de la baie terminale qui montre encore trois divisions de pierre en ogives subtrilobées, avec trèfles au tympan. Composite baptismal font listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10022519] [accessed 25 December 2023] consisting of a 13th-century(?) basin ["Date: 1201 (incertain) - 1300 (incertain)"] and a 16th-century(?) base ["Date: 1501 (incertain) - 1600 (incertain)"]; 111 cm in height ["hauteur: 111 cm"]; the brass font cover of the 20th century ["Date: 1951 (incertain) - 1975"].
