D'Otreppe de Beuville (1997) mentions the font at Erneuville as being made of 'arkose' in the 10th-11th century. The font is listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10045999] [accessed 25 December 2023]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Date: 901 (incertain) - 1100 (incertain) [...] hauteur: 138 cm [...] cuve Xe-XIe h. 48, pied du XXe, couvercle m. XXe" [NB: the given height may include the cover]. The roughly cylindrical shaped basin stands on what appears to be a modern replacement base. The modern font cover [cf. supra] is a low-dome with an angel stanting on a ball and blowing a long straight horn.
