Noted in Stadt Penig [https://www.penig.de/verzeichnis/visitenkarte.php?mandat=222368] [accessed 12 December 2023] as a well-preserved Romanesque baptismal font adorning the rectory garden ["Das große alte romanische Taufbecken ist noch sehr gut erhalten und ziert den Pfarrhof"]. The entry for this church in Kirchspiel Geithainer Land [https://www.kirche-geithain.de/kirche-niedersteinbach/] [accessed 12 December 2023] mentions the old baptismal font in the rectory garden ["Der riesige alte romaniche Taufstein steht hgeute noch im Pfarrgarten Niedersteinbach"], and illustrates also the baptismal font in use [cf. ImagesArea], located in the chancel of the parish church.
