The entry for this church in the Kirchengemeindelexikon 1800 Geschichten [https://kirchengemeindelexikon.de/einzelgemeinde/barnstorf/] [accessed 6 December 2023] reports a fragment of a Romanesque perhaps 13th-century stone font, and a Baroque wooden font dated 1690 with a scene of the Bptism of Christ on the base ["Barocker hölzerner Taufständer, farbig gefasst mit geschnitzter Darstellung der Taufe Christi durch Johannes auf dem Schaft (dat. 1690, wohl aus der gleichen Werkstatt wie Altar, Kanzel und Opferstock) [...] Fragment eines romanischen Taufbeckens (vielleicht Anfang 13. Jh.)"].
