The entry for this church in the Kirchengemeindelexikon 1800 Geschichten [https://kirchengemeindelexikon.de/einzelgemeinde/barnstorf/] [accessed 6 December 2023] reports a fragment of a Romanesque perhaps 13th-century stone font, and a Baroque wooden font dated 1690 with a scene of the Bptism of Christ on the base ["Barocker hölzerner Taufständer, farbig gefasst mit geschnitzter Darstellung der Taufe Christi durch Johannes auf dem Schaft (dat. 1690, wohl aus der gleichen Werkstatt wie Altar, Kanzel und Opferstock) [...] Fragment eines romanischen Taufbeckens (vielleicht Anfang 13. Jh.)"]. The entry for this church in the St-Vite Kirchengemeinde [https://st-veit.wir-e.de/kirche] [accessed 6 December 2023] reports a badly damaged early-Gothic baptismal font now in the rectory garden, as well as a Baroque font of 1690 bearing a scene of the Baptismal of Christ on its base, inside the church.
