Noted and illustrated in the Evangelische Pfarrei Queck [https://www.queck-evangelisch.de/gottesdienst/lebenslauf/taufe/] [accessed 4 Dece,ber 2023] as a baptismal font of 1520. The font is made of reddish sandstone(?) and consists of an octagonal basin with a pronounced 'lip' at the upper rim, the sides and underbowl rounded and flowing down the pedestal base without a break; it is decorated with trefoiled tracery on the basin and underbowl, and round arches on the upper base; the lower base has the sort of moulding that i,itates crossed logs; one of the sides of the basin bears a cross(?) symbol with the 1520 date below. No cover present; the upper rim has a metal support for a baptismal dish.
