Font Notes:
The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klosterkirche_St._Maria_(Kloster_Zinna)#Kanzel,_Taufstein,_Bänke] [accessed 3 December 2023] mentions a hexagonal baptismal font of ca. 1700 in it ["Der Taufstein mit einer sechseckigen Kuppa entstand um 1700"]. Baptismal font consisting of a hexagonal basin raised on a round pedestal base of the baluster type, on a short and small square lower base; the sides of the basin bear biblical inscriptions; one of the sides has an inscription from Zechariah 13, 1: "Zu der Zeit wird das Haus David und die Bürger zu Jerusalem einen freien, offenen Born haben wider die Sünde und Unreinigkeit" that appears to be from Luther's 1545 Bible [KJV: "In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness"]; the next one to the right appears to be from Mark; etc.; the round base is decorated with foliage on the sides, the lower end moulded; the font is located in the chancel, right in fromt of the altar. There appear to be two other baptismal fonts in this church; one is modern and of sleek design, plain hexagonal basin on a plain hexagonal pedestal base; the other is octagonal in both basin and base, the sides decorated with tracery patterns; it may be of 18th- or 19th-century date [cf.
