The baptismal font in this church is noted and Illustrated in Die evangelische Kirche Sandlofs [https://www.queck-evangelisch.de/kirchenundgebaeude/kirchesandlofs/index.html] [accessed 3 December 2023]; it consists of a basin that is polygonal [octagonal?] at the top, with a rounded underbowl decorated with loop motifs all around; one of the loops contains a heraldic device; the other two, to the left and right of that one, contain the date 1597 between the two [i.e., 15 / 97]; the short stem has niches all around; the lower base is octagonal, with grading mouldings on splaying steps, and may be of a later date than the basin.
