Janna Werner's article Spätgotischer Taufstein hat einen Ehrenplatz im Pfarrgarten: Evangelische Gemeinde Neckargröningen saniert die Mauer an der Martinskirche und rettet dabei historische Zeugnisse vor dem Verfall [https://www.meinekirche.de/uploads/tx_kbmeinekirche/lkz_20070807_spaetgotischer_taufstein.pdf] [accessed 1 December 2023] notes and illustrates what appears to be the sandstone basin of a baptismal font originally from this church, mounted on a modern base and located outside, in the vicarage garden; the article suggests that it may date, like the church itself, from about 1515; it has been used for a baptism in its present location, on at least one occasion.
