A baptismal font made of marble in the 17th century and located in the choir/chancel of this church is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM59006013]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Marbre (blanc, noir) : taillé [...] 17e siècle [...] H = 107 ; d = 85 (cuve) [...] Emplacement de l’œuvre dans l’édifice: Choeur". Also listed for this church, Palissy [ref.: PM59006014] is an 18th-century holy-water stoup located at the noth end of the west side [cf. ImagesArea]. The entry for this church in Eglise Saint Géry - Basilique Notre Dame du Saint Cordon - Ancienne église Saint Nicolas - Eglise réformée - Chapelle Saint Joseph dite "chapelle des Pères Maristes" [http://pormenaz.free.fr/Valenciennes.php] [accessed 30 November 2023] mentions "une tête de Christ, œuvre du valenciennois Henri Lemaire (1857) placée sur les anciens fonts baptismaux", but does not give any further information on the old font.
