A large basin used as planter outside the west portal of the church is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM71000869]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Baptistère. [...] 16e siècle (?) [...] H = 58 ; la = 91". Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: AP71W00915, AP71W00916, AP71W00916]. The basin is roughly hemispherical in shape, decorated with a rope moulding at the upper rim; it has four very prominent human figures set at 90-degree angles on the sides; the figures. some of which are clearly male, with big beards, in a crouching or kneeling position; the figures are damaged, some badly so. There is base and the basin rests directly on the ground, outside the west portal of the church, disused and serving as planter.
