Noted in JP Roger in Annales du Cercle historique et folklorique de Braine (1974): "fonts baptismaux du XIIe ou du XIIIe, en grès de Beugin sûrement, et déposée près de l'église de Caucourt". The remaining sandstone basin, serving now as decorative planter outside, by the base of the tower, appears roughly though not quite square [cf. supra] on the outside; it may have had some decorative motifs on it, but it now appears plain, mucha damaged and eroded; raised on a made-up base.
