Er wurde 1660 auf Kosten des Kornschreibers Arnold Bredeloh neu bearbeitet und mit seinen Initialen und seinem Wappen versehen. Auch sein Name erscheint auf der Empore. Der moderne Taufdeckel wurde 1955 vom Gemeinderat gestiftet. Die Taube im Griff stellt das Sinnbild des Heiligen Geistes dar"].
