Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin with plain sides and gadrooned underbowl, raised on a round baluster-type pedestal base decorated with fluting on the upper half and foliage on the lower part; on a tiny round lower base. No cover present. Said to be originally from the badly damaged in 1944 church of Sint-Theresia church in Ninove.
A comunication from Pol Herman (e-mail of 28 November 2025) notes that almost identical baptismal fonts stand in the village churches of Aspelare, Elene, Meerbeke, Sint-Antelinks, Borchtlombeek, Sint-Goriks-Oudenhove and Pamel, all of them in the same area. There must have been a local workshop at that time.
