Baptismal font listed and illustrated in the Catalogo benerale dei Bieni culturali [codice: 1200070521] [https://catalogo.beniculturali.it/detail/HistoricOrArtisticProperty/1200070521] [accessed 22 October 2023]: "Fonte battesimale. Marmo. Francesco D'ancona. 162; M. The baptismal font as it appears now is a composite object: the roughly hemispherical basin is the work of Francesco da Ancona, dated 1470, decorated with cornucopia, floral and fruit motifs; the base and the 'tempietto' with a Baptism of Christ scene and the statues of Ilario and Valentino, are later modifications using earlier(?) pieces.
