The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Sebastian_(Stangenroth)] [accessed 21 October 2023] reports a 17th-century baptimal font in it ["Der aus dem 17. Jahrhundert stammende Taufstein gilt als Beweis, dass es bereits vor dem großen Brand von 1738 eine Kapelle in Stangenroth gab."] The font consists of a plain and narrow hexagonal basin with mouldings at both ends, raised on round pedestal base, also plain. Domed font cover with ball finial/handle. The font appears to be a plainer version of the font at nearby Burkardroth [cf. BSI entry], without the decorations and inscriptions of the latter.
