Auf den Aussenseiten seiner spätgotischen Kelchform mit dem Blendmasswerk trägt er die Symbole der Evangelisten (Offenbarung 4, 6-8): Matthäus (Mensch), Markus (Löwe), Lukas (Stier) und Johannes (Adler). Dazwischen die Wappen und einer der Namen der vermutlichen Stifter: «Yörg kilchher» (ein Yörg Vest war 1498-1509 Pfarrer in Sigriswil) und Christian Stelli (Klostergeistlicher in Interlaken)."

The parish web site [https://www.kirchgemeindesigriswil.ch/index.php/der-taufstein/] [accessed 21 October 2023] describes and illustrates the baptismal located in the chancel; basin decorated with tracery all around; the upper spandrels contain the symbols of the Four Evangelists alternating with the emblems and/or coats of arms of the presumed donors of the font; raised on an octagonal-to-square pedestal base ["Der Taufstein ist 1506 (MCCCCCVI) datiert und damit das zweitälteste Stück der Innenausstattung der Kirche. Auf den Aussenseiten seiner spätgotischen Kelchform mit dem Blendmasswerk trägt er die Symbole der Evangelisten (Offenbarung 4, 6-8): Matthäus (Mensch), Markus (Löwe), Lukas (Stier) und Johannes (Adler).
