Baptismal font listed in Palissy [ref.: PM77002822]: "Fonts baptismaux reposant sur quatre pieds en forme de colonnettes courtes, une seule d'entre elles possède un décor gothique un peu fruste. La cuve ovale contient une boite en laiton et un couvercle en bois. La boite est ornée de denticules sur son couvercle et de moulures sur son pourtour [...] 16e siècle ; 18e siècle [presumably 16thC for the font; 18thC for the cover] Cuve : l = 100, la = 80". Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: AP77W04571]. The basin is an oblong tub, rather than oval, both inside and out; it is raised on four legs as indicated above. It is an uncommon shape for late fonts, and it is probably not the font of the original church here. The metal anchorings of the old cover are still on its upper rim.
