Baptismal font listed in Palissy [ref.: PM34002791]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Marbre (blanc) [...] H = : 106 ; d. = 88 [...] Cuve portée sur un piédouche orné de linges noués. Sur la cuve : écu aux armes de Frontignan, de ... à un château de ... Porte la date [...] 1609". The font consists of a round basin, roughly hemispherical but shallower, decorated with a pronounced moulding at the upper rim; the underbowl is decorated with a ribbed pattern, incised rather than carved; on one side of the basin is a large shield bearing the coat of arms of the town [cf. supra] and the date "1609"; raised on a round pedestal base of the baluster type decorated with hanging drapery bows. No cover present.
