The entry for this church in Open Churches [https://openchurches.eu/fr/edifices/saints-pierre-et-paul-manhay] [accessed 1 October 2023] mentions a baptismal font of the 17th century in it; the same source notes that a church here was documented in 1011 and was destroyed by fire in 1642. Noted and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10019839] [accessed 1 October 2023], where it is indicated that it was used as a stoup ["font baptismaux [...] 1651-1700 [...] marbre [...] hauteur: 102.5 cm [...] employés comme bénitier"]. The present font may have been installed when the church was re-built; it is made of rose marble and consists of a hemispherical basin on a round baluster-type pedestal base; the only decorations are a small number of mouldings on the basin and base. No cover present.
