A baptismal font of 1529 is noted in Hans Hoffmann's Die alte Kirche in Zürich-Altstetten und die 1941 vorgenommene Ausgrabungen, in Zeitschrift für schweizerische Archäologie und Kunstgeschichte = Revue suisse d'art et d'archéologie = Rivista svizzera d'arte e d'archeologia = Journal of Swiss archeology and art history (Band 4 (1942), Heft 4. p. 244-245; the illustration in Hoffmann's Tafel 96 is of the modern font, but the foundations of the 1529 font are also illustrated in the article. The present baptismal font in this church dates from a late-19th century renovation (1885-1888), and is the one illustrated in Hoffmann above. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here]
