Church Notes: church 1340s; burned down 1815; re-built 1817-1818
Font Notes:
A stone baptismal font probably from the 14th-century church is now used as holy-water stoup by the entranceway; it consists of a roughly cylindrical basin decorated with an arcade of blank trefoiled arches all around; the underbowl is decorated with a flat ribbed pattern; stands on a short round base. The decoration on the basin has been badly eroded, and it is badly damaged overall; part of the damage may have occurred when the church burned down in 1815, and had to be rebuilt thereafter. Mentioned in the Památkový katalog [https://pamatkovykatalog.cz/kostel-nejsvetejsi-trojice-688106] [accessed 26 September 2023] as polygonal [polygonální gotická kamenná křtitelnice/kropenka"], although it now appears round, cylindrical. Illustrated in Hrady.cz (Jiří Čížek) [https://www.hrady.cz/data_g/5602/50555.900.jpg] [accessed 26 September 2023]. There is now a metal font in use inside the church.
