Josef Matějka's Kamenné křtitelnice v okrese Jaroměřském [http://www.smirice.eu/okoli/krtitel/krtitel.htm] [accessed 21 September 2023] notes that Jiří Uhlíř wrote in 'Jasenná - vlastivěda obce', cited in about a baptismal font of stone in the church of Jasenná: a baptismal font consisting of a square basin basin with wide chamfered corners, one of the four broad sides bearing a German-language inscription identifying the maker, Hans (Jan) Pechhan, and the date 1521, the other three sides bearing a shield on each; the shields are charged with 1) a large Latin cross with two smaller Tau crosses, 2) a large G (thought perhaps to stand for the town (Gasenná / Jasenná) and 3) an X cross; the base is pyramidal square and plain. The wooden cover has a Baptism of Christ scene sculpture on it. The entry for this church in Oficiální stránky obce Jasenná [https://www.obec-jasenna.cz/nase-obec-1/kulturni-pamatky/] [accessed 21 September 2023] reports a polygonal font of 1521 in this church.
