Described in František Šebek's Bronzová křtitelnice ze 16. století vyniká svou velikostí [https://pardubicky.denik.cz/zpravy_region/bronzova-krtitelnice-ze-16-stoleti-vynika-svou-velikosti-20120723.html] [accessed 21 September 2023] (23 July 2012) believed to have been cast by Řehoř (Gregor) in his Sukova smelting workshop in 1515; the basin sides are decorated with six bison heads, the emblem the lords of Pernštejn had in their coat of arms; below the bison heads is an inscription in Gothic minuscules framed by three thin mouldings; it bears the name of the donor and the date of the donation [NB: the text is repeated with minor variations]; the bucket-shaped basin rests on three animal legs that have bearded men on the upper end. The present font cover is not the original but a later replacement; the metal loops at the upper rim are the anchorings for the original cover. The font was moved to the Church of the Annunciation [Zvěstování Panny Marie] in 1532.
