The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfarrkirche_Friedersbach] [accessed 13 June 2024] reports a decagonal baptismal font of the late 15th century with a font cover of the early-19th century and a Gothic holy-taer stoup of the 15th century ["ein Taufstein von Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts mit zehnseitigem Becken und einem Holzdeckel vom Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts; gotisches Weihwasserbecken und Opferstock im nördlichen Seitenschiff (15. Jh.)"] Two oddly shaped objects stand at the bottom of the gallery stairs, by the entranceway: one is a late-medieval almsbox of stone with large metal locking latches; the other has the appearance of a small baptismal font or holy-water stoup; the latter appears to consist of two parts: an octagonal basin with a round tapering underbowl, on a broader roughly round-to-square base; other than the arrises of the polygonal shape the basin is plain; the base, however, has large loop sticks(?) on the sides. The object looks suspiciously like a composite vessel, the two parts not originally matched.
