The Wikipedia entry for this church [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfarrkirche_Sitzendorf_an_der_Schmida] [accessed 14 September 2023] notes and illustrates a late-Gothic baptismal font located at the east end of the south aisle; it was made from reddish marble ca. 1500 ["Im südlichen Seitenschiff im Bereich des Chorbogens steht ein spätgotisches Taufbecken aus rotem Marmor aus der Zeit um 1500"]. The font is dodecagonal, with slighly convex sides decorated with several mouldings at different levels on the basin and base. On the font is a cover that appears to have two parts: a platform that matches the design of the upper basin, and a top that probably opens for reduced access to the inside.
