an early-Gothic 14th-century baptismal font in a side chapel and a late-Gothic holy-water stoup by the entranceway ["In der Seitenkapelle befindet sich der frühgotische Taufstein, aus dem 14. Jhd. Bei dem hinteren Kircheneingang ein spätgotischer Weihwasserbecken."] The entry for this church in ZWALK [https://www.zwalk.at/die-pfarrkirche-von-sallingberg/] [accessed 5 September 2023] gives the date of the granite basin as 1315 ["In der Seitenkapelle, wo auch der Beichtstuhl untergebracht ist, steht auf einem unförmigen Sockel ein frühgotischer, vieleckiger Taufstein aus Granit aus dem Jahre 1315"]; the font is an odd-looking vessel, with a well-shaped and smooth-finished round basin with a tapering underbowl, on a rough grainy-surface base that is round at the top and quadrangular at the bottom, looking very much like a composite object.
