The entry for this church in Danmarks Kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Ribe_1515-1562.pdf] [accessed 13 August 2023] reports two fonts in it, one of which is the fragment of a granite basin thought to be the original font of the medieval church; it was unearthed while plowing in a Vallund farm; it stood in the farm garden until 1979, when the owner donated it to the church, where it is now located in the nave, by the former north entranceway. Noted and illustrated in the 22 July 2020 article 'Kun én familie bruger den gamle døbefont' in the JydskeVestkysten [https://jv.dk/varde/kun-en-familie-bruger-den-gamle-doebefont] [accessed 13 August 2023]
