The entry for this church in Danmarks Kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Ribe_1515-1562.pdf] [accessed 13 August 2023] lists and illustrates two baptismal fonts in this church: the font in use in the chancel dates from 1455; it is made of metal and bears the date, the name of the priest Hermn Myn and an invocation to the Virgin; there are symbols (one of them appears heraldic) and figures on the sides; one of the figures a bishop, the other St. Lawrence with his grill; the four supporting figures on a round lower base may be feminine and represent the virtues. DK (ibid.) suggests the fonts at Ribe cathedral, Varde St. Jakobi church and Nordby church as cognates. A baptismal dish of ca. 1550 is in use. The hexagonal wooden font cover is profusely decorated with fruit motifs framed by six scroll ribs topped with a bird finial; the lower carved sides have cherub(?) heads in three of them, another has a dove with chick, another a hare and the sixth has a pelikan feedin its young with its blood; the cover dates from ca. 1640; the present painting from 1760.
