Une souscription pour la sauvegarde de l’église, describes the church as 17th-century but the font in it as 15th-century. The entry for this village in Portet d'Aspet [http://aspetinf.chez.com/docum/communes/liste/portet.htm] [accessed 12 August 2023] mentions two vessels in this 16th-century church: a 16th- or 17th-century baptismal font decrated with heads , and a later pedestal holy-water stoup of 1778 ["Fonts baptismaux, XVI ou XVII. Base ornée de têtes, vasque ornée d'une tête portant une croix sur la coiffure."] The entry for Portet d'Aspet in Calameo [https://www.calameo.com/read/000345240eca400000f48] [accessed 12 August 2023] has an illustration of the font which ii dates to the 15th-century; without a textual mention there is also an illustration of what is presumably the stoup mentioned in other sources.
