The entry for this church in the Kirchgemeinde Döben-Höfgen, Nerchau [http://www.kirche-hoefgen.de/02_kgdh/kidoe.php] [accessed 10 August 2023] describes two baptismal fonts in it; of the two, the later font is chalice-shaped and made of sandstone ca. 1700; it is topped with a tall font cover the flame finial of which symbolises the Holy Ghost ["Neuer Taufstein - im Mittelgang des Kirchenschiffes, um 1700, aus Sandstein in Becherform mit hohem Holzdeckel, darauf eine Flamme, die an den heiligen Geist erinnern soll."] [cf.
