Noted and illustrated in Viersen: "Auf den Turm der Remigiuskirche" [https://www.kreiter.info/familie/docs/reiseberichte/viersen/remigiuskirche.htm] [accessed 30 August 2023] as a Baroque baptismal font made of blue limestone ca. 1600, decorated with masks; the later cover is decorated with angels heads and has a Baptism of Christ figural finial ["Das im südlichen Seitenschiff seitlich des Turms stehende barocke Taufbecken wurde aus Blaustein gefertigt und ist mit vier Masken verziert. Es entstand um das Jahr 1600. Der deutlich jüngere Taufdeckel ist mit Engelsköpfen und Ornamenten geschmückt, die kleine aufgesetzte Figurengruppe erinnert an die Taufe Christi."]
