Two fonts are reported in the Dipperz Wikipedia entry [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Antonius_d._Einsiedler_u._St._Placidus_(Dipperz)] [accessed 10 August 2023]; the font in the church dates from 1512 and has relief decoration ["Der mit Reliefschmuck versehene Taufstein stammt von 1512."]. The font consists of an octagonal basin with a pronounced upper rim moulding below which is a black-lettering nscription with the 1512 date; the sides of the basin and underbowl are decorated with a loop pattern that contains floral and/or foliage motifs in the lower area; raised on a pedestal base.
