Two fonts are reported in the Dipperz Wikipedia entry [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Antonius_d._Einsiedler_u._St._Placidus_(Dipperz)] [accessed 10 August 2023]; the older of the two is a Romanesque font decorated with a round-arch frieze, located at present in the vicarage on Wilhelm-Ney-Strasse ["Im Garten des Pfarrhauses in der Wilhelm-Ney-Straße steht ein romanisches Taufbecken mit Rundbogenfries."] The font consists of a bucket-shaped basin decorated with a row of round arch-heads all around; raised on a round pedestal base; the stone font is badly damaged and in a deplorable state of conservation, still being used as a garden planter in the vicarage garden [NB: not known whether the font originated in the parish church or in the Schloßkirche]. [cf. BSI entry for Dipperz No. 2 for the later font in the church]
