The entry for this church in EH - Geschichte Gasteins: Kirchenbau in Gastein [https://gastein-im-bild.info/gekirchg.html] [accessed 9 August 2023] notes and illustrates a holy-water stoup of a composite nature: a dodecagonal basin of reddish marble of 1520, mounted on a column of serpentine stone found in 1868 and re-purposed here; the shape of the pedestal is square with chamfered sides ["Die Weihbrunnschale in der mittleren Arkade bildet ein geschlungenes, zweifach mit Stab abgekehltes Zwölfeck aus buntscheckigen Marmor als Muschel. Die Schale stammt aus dem Jahre 1520. Die dabei befindliche Serpentinsäule wurde 1868 beim Einschlagen eines Gewölbes im Hause des Riemers Klausner gefunden."] [cf.
