The entry for this church in EH - Geschichte Gasteins: Kirchenbau in Gastein [https://gastein-im-bild.info/gekirchg.html] [accessed 9 August 2023] notes and illustrates a baptismal located near the left side of the altar, a round, hemispherical smooth basin of serpentine stone, with an octagonal font cover dome decorated with S-shaped acanthus tendrils it is dated from the 17th century ["Der Taufstein neben dem linken Seitenaltar, besteht aus einem runden, halbkugelförmigen glatten Becken, einem Monolithen aus Serpentin und einer achtseitigen kielbogigen Holzkuppel mit s-förmigen Akanthusranken. Er stammt aus dem 17. Jh., die dazugehörige Gruppe der Taufe Jesu aber aus dem 18. Jh. - sie wird im Archiv aufbewahrt."] [cf.
