Achim Mertens' Taufstein der Pfarrkirche St. Silvester Neu-Lohn / Fronhoven (January 1997) [http://www.st-silvester-lohn.de/taufstein.htm] [accessed 7 August 2023] informs that the old font from Lohn's medieval church served as planter in the new church between 1972 and 1996, when it was installed inside the replacement church in Neu-Lohn; an illustration in this source shows a stone font consisting of a plain hemispherical basin raised on a round pedestal base of the baluster-type, with a small round-to-square lower base; to judge by the design the font may date to the time when the medieval church was re-built ca. 1700.
